Our goal at Friend is to act as a place connecting great products to anyone attracted to exploring the world of design. Friend presents a breadth of items from furniture and home furnishings to clothing and accessories, all clever and thoughtfully designed.
In addition, Friend acts as a nexus of information relating to design, staging events to introduce designers and new concepts to the public on a regular basis.
Technology Marries Humanity - The Friend space
Yves Behar of Fuseproject, an acclaimed product design and branding agency, was commissioned to develop the Friend space and brand identity. The term 'Warm Modern' was coined to reflect an atmosphere that is relaxed allowing for a comfortable and thoughtful environment you want to go to with your friends. The Friend store is featured in Mr. Behar’s show at SFMOMA through October 2004.
